Children can teach us many things about personal development when we are attentive.
One of the most important responsibilities we adults have is that of teaching and modeling for our children the behaviors that foster healthy habits,productive life styles, and a sincere concern for others.
Children are excellent learners who process information quickly, and they can also teach us many things about personal development when we are attentive.
Over the years,through my observation of small children, I have learned that they can help us adults in our personal development efforts in at least five ways:

1.Their natural curiosity keeps them questioning and learning;
2.Their ability to enjoy life's simplest pleasures;
3.The ease with which they trust their loved ones to take care of them,to support them;
4.Their ability to be totally focused on whatever is of interest to them at any given time;
5.Resting,sleeping when they are tired.

These simple actions can be as beneficial to us as they are helpful to our children,and by engaging in them often,as our children do,we will experience quantum leaps in our personal development efforts.

WHAT TO DO NEXT:
*Think of an activity that you really enjoyed as a child;
*Explore it to see if it still provides enjoyment for you;
*Try to establish short, regular breaks or rest periods throughout your day to regroup and re-energize.
